I like to expend as little energy as possible and reaching for the volume on the left side of my stereo is already too much.

Stereos with volume controls on the right side seem to be quite rare. I've tried Googling but it's too vague a query to be helpful.

I'm surprised nobody has made interchangeable knobs. My Lexus RX had the volume on the right side and it was great.

Does any company have a specific product line for this? Aftermarket single DIN ideally.

Thanks.

Sorry not much help from me but is that because Lexus home market is rhd and it has a "proper" radio?
Last few cars I have had use a touch screen and controls on the steering wheel or else they are old and I don't use a radio in them😀

Many have remote control, the ones Iam involved with certainly do. Also steering wheel attached add on remotes.

Take your stereo out and refit upside down.
Sorted.

This would work. In the interim though employ a slave to do it for you.

My Sony stereo (from about 10 years ago) had a steering wheel mounted remote like this. It allowed control of loads of features.

It is a Sony - Car Audio Remote RM- X4S

Make a mental note of this inconvenience, and when it comes time to change your car, go for a vehicle with steering wheel controls for the stereo.

Job's a good'un! biggrin

I gave up trying to find a simple new stereo with the volume control on the right hand side and went with this:

https://www.pioneer-car.eu/uk/products/deh-x8700bt

GBP150 delivered. I was only really interested in the Bluetooth. When I get in the car and turn the ignition key it connects to my iphone and starts playing whatever music/podcast I was last listening to. As my friend said to me "like a modern car does".

I'm very pleased with the unit. I fitted it with the help of an ebay ISO/Toyota adapter in a few minutes.

I also learned that regardless of brand, most stereo model names with Bluetooth have the suffix BT.
