Hi

Just about finished tearing my hair out.
The wife's car is a 14 plate Mercedes which has a TV tuner but no rear screens.
Been told that to put in factory screens would be £5k but the gotcha is that you can't then use the tuner.
WTF!

Anyway looking for collective minds on this.
The needs of the kids (2 of them) are as follows:

(1) Would like to choose independent inputs at different times.
(2) Inputs would be (a) Telly; (b) PS4; (c) Media Steamer.

Wifes needs are
(1) Wireless headphones.

Ideas please or contact names and numbers of people / companies I can talk to.

I have spoken to Braybrook and Comand Online.

Cheers
John

Do people still watch TV as it's broadcast via the tuner?

Exactly. We've done this for our son & stuffed a 256gb in it full of movies, TV shows etc. for when we went away last year - more than enough things to watch while we were doing the boring driving bit through the UK / Spain / Portugal. TV tuners in a car are just a pointless waste of time unless you're stationary and not a kid. Kids do streaming and YouTube for their viewing fix - not "BBC1 at 7pm" type TV.

Why not ask the kids what they'd prefer?

We paid around a couple of hundred for a decent tablet, a few quid for a memory card and about £20 for the bracket. Headphones are an essential as well.

This. My kids have no idea what live TV is, everything is Vines or Youtube or Netflix. We used to have lots of DVD's for the car / holidays, we don't have a DVD player anywhere now, everything is on their tablets.
