Seat Leon MK2 Headlight Question

Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone can help with this, I'm driving my girlfriends Seat Leon a lot more lately (2011 1.6 Copa TDI) and I'm looking at putting a HID kit in there because the bulbs atm are woeful.
Only thing before I do is I don't know is if the headlights are projectors or reflectors. The bulbs have a little dome type thing in front of them which I read makes them projectors but the back part seem more like the reflector type so I'm a bit confused and don't want to blind other drivers... Added a photo below.
