Hi

I have just got a 2007 Flying Spur with the 3w5035123b DVD changer. Unfortunately whilst the discs play, they stutter.

Does anyone know of who might be able to fix this? The replacement units appear to be around £1,600.....

Many thanks
David

PS apparently its manufactured by a company called Centurion

Could be something as simple as the laser needs cleaning or the mechanism that moves the laser needs re lubricating or at worst the laser itself could be worn out ( the don't last forever ) Your only chance of getting it repaired is to find a old style TV engineer but they are a fast dispersing breed .
Try www.retra.co.uk / service division / find a engineer . Best of luck .

Just found a guy on eBay who seems to repair all sorts of CD changers

Many thanks Charlie, I'll try contacting the ebay chap. I wouldn't know where to start with cleaning or lubricating the unit myself I'm afraid...

Hi

Unfortunately the chap on ebay couldn't help as he didn't have a test rig for this unit. I'm still trawling for any second hand units or people who can fix this one.

Cheers
David

Hi Sounds to me like you have RSE system fitted in the headrests.
That changer was for the dvds and long since gone
If you contact CKO International in Harrow they still supply Dvd changers for installers
It wont be a hard swop but will need some cable changes
Happy to help
