Thanks can you confirm if the 8" screen measurement includes the fixed buttons?
Hi there,

Apologies for the delay. Having checked, yes, the screen size includes the built-in buttons in this case.

Many thanks,

Hi looking to purchase an Xtrons head unit could you point me in the direction of an installer in the East Midlands, thanks
Hi there!

All our units are fitted by third-party professionals. Unfortunately we do not have any knowledge of fitters around the East Midlands, but we do have a recommended fitter in West Yorkshire.

- Leeds In Car Entertainment professionals 2DASH, for fitting times and prices please call Al on 07900 696 390.

Other than that we have had plenty of success in simply getting a chain such as Halford's to fit it (other fitters are available!)

Hope this helps!

Best,

Hi I wonder if you can help me out as I am having problems with a few things, I purchased a few bits from yourselves the head unit I have fitted in a friend's car it is a PSD60UNN with a DAB+ unit and a CP02 interface dongle. I also have a DVR019 front facing camera. This is in a Nissan Xtrail 2012.

The problems I have are.

I can not get the camera to pick up on the head unit there is no USB simble in the drop down menu, or found in any file manager/Es explorer. It did show briefly the first time it was plugged in but then it's not appeared since.

The CP02 does nothing, the system works exactly the same if the charging/data cable is plugged into the dongle or directly into head unit USB. I have tried numerous apps to no prevail. I was under the impression this unit would give me android auto/apple car play just by plugging the phone via a charging/data cable.

I have had a look through the xtrons site for system updates and app updates.

Since removing the Oem head unit the dash information now doesn't change from the Range counter, Is this normal? If we can get these issues sorted out, do you do a steering wheel infer face for volume control and track skip.

Many thanks Dean.
Hi Dean!

Firstly, apologies but this is not my expertise.

This video may be of some help in setting up and connecting your CP02 unit -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16blSetp6C0&fe...

Also, apparently the DVR app is the one to go to for playback, rather than the USB.

Hope this makes sense!

Anything else I can help with on this, please just drop it below.

Many thanks,

Thanks for the reply.

I have watch that YouTube video and thought that would be the fix needed, my only problem is finding the Autokit. Apk file to download or where to download from.
Also the app for the Camera where do I download that from.

If this is not something you really deal with can you advise me where I can go or who I can speak to.

Regards Dean.
Hi again Dean,

I'm informed that there should be links printed in the manual for the relevant Android apps to make this all work. I'll enclose the links below, hopefully this is the software that will make your unit click into life!

For CP02/03 -

https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21ANgtRkfmxvxH...

For DVR -

https://onedrive.live.com/?authkey=%21AJIb3gdpIdfg...

I appreciate the technical nature of this, and appreciate your patience with it! If this doesn't work I'll get into further technical support for you.

Many thanks,

XTRONS.

WOW - I found the slot under the button as you said - MANY thanks for that thumbup
Why hide it - the button was hard to lift - I'd never have found it unless told - ought to be in the manual?

Now all I need is the SD card with the maps?? Where do I get that [or download it maybe from] Any ideas?

Rene
Hi Rene, and thanks to markiii for solving the mystery!

If you have the serial number of your unit, I can point you in the direction of the right SD card - we use mapping software called KUDOS.

Also apologies for the manual confusion. There may be some translation issues in there, we're working to rectify that over our whole product range.

Many thanks,

XTRONS.

Thanks for the link - How can I tell whether my unit is windows or android??
Their software is only for windows?
Also the software being 2017 is out of date - any links to more recent maps, or software which is FOC so I can try the unit out?
TA
Rene
Hi Rene,

What is the serial number in the manual please? I should be able to find the info you're looking for from this.

The unit will be tied into its operating system i.e. if it runs on Android 9.0, you won't be able to upgrade to Android 10, but the maps should be similar enough to work so long as the card is matched to the serial number.

Hope that makes sense?

Many thanks,

There is no number in the manual - so I don't know which unit I have - see picture of manual - maybe you can tell me which unit it is?

Rene
Hi Rene,

In that case, the serial number would almost certainly be printed on a sticker on the unit. However, to find this would mean unscrewing the whole thing. You can of course do this, but let's try and avoid that...

Would you mind taking a picture of the main menu of the stereo, when it is switched on? We may be able to ascertain what it is from there.

Sorry for the complexity!

Best,

XTRONS

Hi Rene,

I think we've found it! That's a WinCE unit, which should work with this memory card -

https://xtrons.co.uk/wince-gps-map-kds05tf

Sorry it was such an epic.

Any more problems, let us know!

Many thanks,
