2013 VW Golf MK7 Radio/ CarPlay

I have a 2013 VW Golf MK7 and the radio console/ head unit is old and dated.

I’d like to know if it’s possible to update the radio console/ head unit to one that supports Apple Carplay?

If so how would I go about doing it?

Also, if I was able to install one. Will I lose the parking/ assist function from coming up on the radio console/ head unit?

I think the whole unit would need to be upgraded (or at least the connector module in the pocket below the air conditioning controls).

I've seen it quoted at costs of £750 for the new system from the mk7.5 to be installed.
