Road Angel requires a sub of DD of £4 per month after an initial free six months for the trafcam info. I do not know whether you get better quality info as a result of paying the sub, but that put me off.

But have a look at the post Tom Tom 1 Regional Warning - which says the mapping on the UK only version is weak. On mapping, I suggest trying to find working versions for example at your local Halfords and have a look at mapping of roads which you know.
