Apologies in advance if this has been covered before!

I would like to download the latest applications to my TomTom One through the home site. I am told there isn't enough memory so I deleted a voice leaving just one but apparently I still need more space.

Is there anything else of no use I can delete? Not being a computer wizard I was wondering if I could buy a larger memory card and reinstall the back up plus new updates?

Thanks.

Buy a larger card, the early ones had a 128Mb card so your next option is a 256Mb, I have put a 512Mb in mine, just copy the stuff from the old card to the new, it's as easy as that.

Where do you get the latest applications from? What specifically are the advantages over the old systems?

I downloaded the TomTom home software. With this you can regularly check for updates. Not certain what they are all for as you don't get an explanation but hopefully installs the latest maps etc.

I downloaded the new software and had the same problem. I copies the old software from the TT to my desk top to make sure i had the backup then put the new software onto the TT. No problem

Don't bother buying 512Mb. 1GB or even 2Gb are so cheap now give yourself some headroom! Make sure you buy a 66x or faster card though (this is what Tomtom recommend).
