RR P38 radio connect to alpine TME-M740BT

I recently bought a P38. Great car! Now I am having an Alpine TME-M740BT installed. I use it for navigation and because it has a bluetooth interface for mobile telephony.
The company installing the system does not have a lot of experience with the Alpine system. Therefore I have a few questions I hope you can help me answer:
- Can I hook up the Alpine sound output to the standard P38 radio (I think it is a Harman and Kardon) so sound will play over the speakers of the car
- Can I mute the stero's sound when answering a call
