I'm looking for a nav that is transferable between cars, with a windscreen mount, that has the fixed speed camera detector on it, mainly using it in this country, which is best????
Also whats the score on updates for the camera's?? do you have to pay each month from say Tom Tom (if you buy one of these)?? or can you get them for free else where??

I was looking for the exact same device but alas cant find it all in one unit. I bought the Road Angel 9000 with terrible results:
I wrote a long review of my Road Angel Navigator 9000 - take a look here:

I have since bought the Tomtom 720 which you can pay a monthly fee to get the speed camera database on it, but the warning graphics and sounds are just not noticeable enough to be a realsitic warning device. Every other part of the 720 is superb though. One very impressive little feature on the Tomtom 720 is that it even shows little warning icons of Red Light Cameras which to my knowledge, no other speed camera device does! I now run this 720 along side the 'New Road Angel' which is a fantastic Speed Camera warning device - you wont ever miss the visual or audible warning alerts!!!!

I have heard that the site - www.pocketgpsworld.com - offers a speed camera database for many of the SatNav's available, thats meant to be much better than the manufacturer's own. I havent tried it personally, but take a look here:

Many thanks

I've used this dbase with confidence for a couple of years - no issues and very good value.

Thanks for the 9000 review btw - stopped me from making the same mistake. It seemed too good to be true, and it was!

FWIW My wife downloaded the Talex camera database for her Tom Tom (about £20 I think) and it is superb compared to Tom Tom's own or the Garmin one on my Nuvi 310T.
