Looking to buy this but would like some feedback from anyone who has it already. I am torn between this and the Garmin 660.

Brought it couple of weeks back, my 1st ever Sat Nav system. Only used it a few times, but seems very good, and user friendly. The camara's are ok, they do seem to pick-up camaras on the oposite side of the road to the direction you're going in, but I can handle that, they also pick up the trafic light camara's, which my Road Angel didn't. So far, so good.

I got the Uk version as I didn't really need the extra maps (if I do then I'll add them later).

I was originally torn between the UK & Europe version but found that the UK version has Ireland maps as well which is what I wanted.

Overall, I don't think that the TomTom One window mount is particularly good as it's quite basic.

The unit itself is great, I don't have any complaints, found satellites quickly and if regularly updated it seems to accurately identify cameras and with the new map share function it allows updates to maps to be downloaded.

I don't have any experience of the Garmin I'm afraid.

I've bought the Tom Tom 1 Europe and find it very quick on the uptake and for an old duffer like me easy to operate. I agree about the window mount though - very basic. Any ideas of a good one to buy?
