well i have been selling GPS based camera units for over 6 years now and we sell all the well known brands...and i have the Pogo Alert in my car, so does my girlfriend..............i would not have anything else currently available...
thanks pal, thats what iwanted to hear. any discount for a fellow pistonhead? lolEdited by MADT350 on Tuesday 8th April 11:25
The only changes they made was on the screen to accommodate people who have polarized glasses, other than that its just the same...the added extra with the pogo range is that its all software driven, so if they decide they want to change the features or interface that is done when you do an update for the camera locations.....
Thanks for the info but now sold so looking for a new one anyway. Another question. I'm told that the laser detector is not much use as the cops tend to point it at a flat surface e.g number plate and not the curved windscreen where the detector would be located. If this is the case I might as well go for a cheaper speed camera data base type.
not true.laser detectors work to varying degrees and it doesnt really matter where its poinred it should still pick it up, my origin b2 certainly did. The catch with laser d is when it goes off they have got you, you dont really have time to do anything. The pogo range is expensive however the kit has a 2yr warranty and is very accurate and well set up. It also doesnt givel loads of false alerts like a lot of cheaper ones do.

I upgraded direct with Origin from a B2 earlier this year and they have obviously given me an old one - I can't read the display when wearing my polarized glasses - is the screen changeable? Gassing Station | In-Car Electronics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
