just telephoned their technical team - you cant is the answer.

Avoid Road Angel products boys and girls..after owning the RA1, RA2 and now a RA Navigator, I fear their products have gone from very good to very poor -v- the competition

How`s it going "upth north"?
Agree with the RA products comment, we bought Danny a Navigator for X-Mas 2006, it was on and working when he had his accident in the Golf,(written off up the Meon Valleyfrown ) but never worked again, not covered under warranty because of the crash and beyond economical repairfrown £300 down the drain, the access on the insurance was to much to claim on that, if it was covered at all?.He has bought an MGF now eek
I trust you are well? We will have to catch up some time with the rest of the ex-TVR owners, not many of us left from the old crew now.
Take care Tony

eh up chap! Long time no speak. I was wondering how the freeviewers were getting on only the other week. Life up north is good, roads are a lot clearer! Unfortunately, work seems to have taken over my life so left little time to play and make many mates.
Sorry to hear about Danny's crash, not surprised road angel were unhelpful. I shall not be buying anything else from them. Back in the day there wasnt many products out there but I really rated their equipment. When I came to buying a sat nav/camera detector combined I had the choice of umpteen but thought I'd stay loyal - I wished I hadnt! Tell Danny to watch the back end on them MGFs, mine snapped out of line worse than any TVR or Loti! Say Hi to the old crew, still miss y'all and send my best to H.

I have to agree, at least certainly with the 'Navigator' products. I have sent my RA Nav 9000 back as had numerous problems with it. Am going back to a seperate RA and navigation unit now.

I thought a 'one unit does all' sounded too good to be true.....and it was!

I did the same last year, migrating from a New RA to a RA6000, except I sent the latter back instead. This year I traded the New RA in for a Pogodrive, and tbh I'm very happy with the new unit.
