Hi all - I'm new here so please be nice to me!

Just got tagged for another 3 points - making 6 in all - and as I am in fact not all that rapid anyway it's time to take these cameras seriously.

The Road Angel Pro with automatic updates has caught my eye and before dropping £300 I was wondering what others experiences with them have been?

thanks!

If you're looking at that unit (presumably because of the real time wireless updates?) then you may as well buy the RA 9000 Navigator which seems to be essentially the same concept aith the addition of a (not terribly good by all accounts) satnav function?

Alternatively, any one of many Satnavs and download the pocketgps database once a month, albeit not wirelessly?

i would just buy a standard road angel and save the cash. It is simple to fit, easy to upgrade and looks OK. The navigation features can be better ought elsewhere, ie Garmin. If you want an all in one unit, The new Pogo Drive by Origin is pretty good.
