Sat navs? Where's your sense of adventure?!!!
Discussion
I've found some of the best places I know by getting a little lost on hte way somewhere... pubs just off the beaten track, shops that nobody ever mentions, and sometimes whole towns and villages that I never even knew were in England!
I admit that sat navs are great when you need to get from point a to point b with a minimum of fuss for work etc, but come on guys (and girls!), where's your sense of adventure?
Let's start a list of places that we've found accidently that we would love to return to...
Mine's a little village called Ugborough in Devon just off the A38. It's not a big place, but the people are great and I love the pubs around the village square!
Any other suggestions?

Went to the Cotswolds at Easter. Was really nice that you could drive anywhere through wonderful villages. Knowing with a touch of a button it would route me straight back to the hotel. As I have zero sence of direction, this is the only way I will do this sort of thing. Never realised what I was missing out on. Had lunch in some geat little hamlets.
