Garmin Nuvi 250W or Navigon TS7000T?

I am heading into France for the hols this year with Mrs Paul and the sprogs and am considering buying a SatNav system. I don't need MP3 capability, bluetooth, etc. so just looking at a basic system.

Does anyone have any experience or opinions on either of the above?

Take the Garmin ahead of any Navigon device every time.

The single most important reason is this: Navigon units tend to have very slow response times (software), and will never be as fast as the Garmin.
