Tom Tom 530T Phone volume

i have just purchased a Tom Tom 530T which seems very good but i cant seem to get the phone volume above half way on the phone and i cant find an option to adjsut the volume on the tom tom.
i have treid running it through the FM signal on the radio but i cant get the phone to work through this only the sat nav instructions.

any pointers would be greatly aprreciated.

You can't FM transmit phone conversations as it's not a feature in the x20 or x30 series. The official line is "eavesdropping" but it's probably more of a business decision.

As for the volume, not sure - make sure the phone speaker is turned up to it's maximum on the phone, but that's really the only way to do it. The tomtom has a volume control (from the map screen, press the lower right hand panel where it says so many yards to turn, and move the slider to the right to increase the volume) but I don't think it will have much of an effect as the speaker is pretty small as it stands.

Thanks Frederick,i have tried adjusting the volume on the phone but you do not seem able to when it connected to the Tom tom.
