Tom Tom 710 Upgrade problems

I Have a TOM TOM 710. I've upgraded it to the latest maps cameras etc and it is now too large for the SD card. I have purchased an SD card that is big enough and I cannot copy the files from my desktop onto my SD card. It got half way, and now it says the card is read only, but only half the data is on the card.

It wont let me delete the files or format the card so i cant even try again.

I need it 1st thing in the morning.

Any ideas?
