Halford £49.99 according to their web site this morning.
I don't need one most of the time, but it would sometimes come into use when visiting strange towns, or if there is a hold-up on the roads and I needed to make a detour.
Your comments will be appreciated.

it's ok if you want a unit with 2005 mapping on!

budget another 40-60 quid for decent mapping and it's an alright unit, bit slow and clunky but it's old tech... does the job perfectly well though but out of the box it'll be like navigating with stevie wonder...

Thanks for taking the time and effort to reply.
So old maps if used 'out of the box', but presumably use of the free update via garmin web-site will give up to date mapping?

Free update?

If you mean the nuMaps thing, it only applies to Nuvi and Zumo models, not the StreetPilot series (of which the 510T belongs to)
