Out of curiosity, what cars are thes TT's giving problems?
I only ask as I had a 172 with the heat reflecting windscreen which stopped my dart-tag working and made the sat-nav take ages to switch on. Had a little clear patch in the screen where there was no coating for better signals.
mine did not work and ive got no windscreen roof or doors on my westfield !

Quick update - I logged on to the TT website a couple of weeks ago and downloaded the new software (few extra features as well) and now it seems to pick up satellite wihin 10-20 seconds from being turned on. Hopefully now all sorted!

Same problems experienced here with a Tomtom1 and with my previous Garmin Nuvi300.

Im not sure why with a new piece of kit you should be expecting to log on and update the bcensoredd thing 5 minutes after you've bought it.

If it cant find a satellite, then its not a Satnav system is it. furious
