I went very strongly for mowing down people crossing on red, and of course animals over people. I actually went the other way regarding occupants - if the car preserves your interests, you're more likely to buy it, and AI cars will become safer than human piloted cars.
Not to mention that pedestrians, should they notice the car not stopping, have a better chance of getting out of the way.
