Is there a course someone could recommend for a driver to improve their hazard perception / road awareness?

A relative of mine has Asperger's and dyspraxia. His car control is fine and he passed his driving test and has completed pass plus. However, he's had a couple of incidents where were it not for the attentiveness of other road users, he may have been involved in an accident. It seems like he needs more hazard perception training.

What sort of course can he benefit from?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

That's a very kind offer, sadly he's located in the south of England. Thanks nonetheless!

Are there no local driving schools that offer advanced / post-test training?

Google may be your friend as you've not given the location smile

I’ve been driving long before getting (at age 40) an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. I understand the OPs concerns, as sometimes my partner points out things I maybe hadn’t picked up on. I’m thinking of going with the IAM to sharpen my skills. Just out of interest, one of the aspects of ASD/Asperger’s can be not picking up on what might happen next, in other words the last of the “being aware of what you can see, what you cannot see and what may reasonably be expected to develop”driving considerations. I wonder if this is a factor in the OP’s relative’s case?
