I just burst into a bit of commentary whenever I sense focus levels are dipping, works for me smile
That’s a cracking suggestion, it’s been a while, but really works smile And thanks for restoring my faith in the AD sub-forum smile
When I'm training company drivers I demo it but rarely ask them to do it. I've heard too many people with negative memories of commentary as their only experience of it is being put on the spot during some form of driver training. Naturally, most feel a bit of a plonker and their driving goes to pot! Instead we talk about how this could be a useful tool in the box to use when they're alone in the car. I guess some won't bother but if others find it worthwhile then that's great! Incidentally, I've only had the pleasure of an M4 when my local dealer let me take one out for a few hours. He knows what I do for a living so trusted me hehe Cracking car but just as well I can't afford one or I'd loose my licence in no time biggrin

I find commentary useful, as someone said. Also, I like using the observation skills and setting a speed on cruise control and, again, moving through traffic without interrupting other people, but also not using the brake.

It takes skill and resets your observation

And in these current times, it uses less fuel. Save fuel for "the fun car".
