OK, I admit I was wrong. A few weeks ago I had a rant about automated wipers and lights on the basis that surely people can work out for themselves when it's raining or getting dark. However, since the clocks went back last week, I've never seen so many cars trundling around in the dark with no lights on. Clearly, people ain't as bright as I thought! Bring on the full autopilot system, then!

Once the automated light/wiper conditioning is bred into the future DNA, people won't have a clue as to what to do when the house is dark, or they get caught in the rain.
