PH adds more car control dates

Big discounts for ultimate car control course

Ultimate Car Control
Ultimate Car Control
Due to heavy demand, we've added for new dates for this popular one-day course, and with a special, heavy discount -- normally over £1,000, we're offering it at £360 including VAT.

New dates

Your tutor will be Robb Gravett, the successful ex-British Touring Car Champion, who has devised an incredible, unique and dynamic teaching programme.

Each student will be taught car handling through dynamic understanding. This is achieved through a mixture of classroom instruction, where you learn the principles and then the practical, where you put those principles into practice on the tarmac.

Robb provides personal training throughout the day. He has a unique ability to determine all areas of competence required to attain maximum car control. Robb’s teaching provides the student with a full dynamic awareness that effectively imparts a level of car control that is, without doubt, unsurpassed worldwide.

Cars will be provided at no extra cost, but you are welcome to bring your own vehicle to use during the training.

Having been on this course before I do not think it is worth 360 pounds, let alone 1000!

Anyone with any performance driving tuition under their belt will be disappointed with the 'one size fits all' approach and the lack of new material apart from very basic weight transfer material and 'slow-in, fast out' cornering technique, here used as a panacea rather than an approach in a toolkit.

I have had tuition from Calum Lockie, Don Palmer and Andrew Walsh and honestly think all of these provided much better coverage, better value for money, and provided tuition better tailored to the individual.

I personally found the day quite useful.
That directly after spending two days with Don Palmer.

While I'd have to say any future such expenditure will likely be with Don, a day with Robb is not wasted money...
All depends on what you expect to get and what you're used to.
