My Son will be 16 this month, so a year from learning to drive and about mature enough to start to understand the difference between road-craft and the dodgems.

I'd like to try to give him a years experience in car control, so to the point of my thread, does anyone know of any airfields or such like in the East Dorset or West Hampshire region where I could take him out and give him some driving lessons?

We're talking in an old car here, and sensible driving - not an excuse to let him scream about. So any suggestions most gratefully received.

I've posted something similar on the TVR forums (Oh NO - he's NOT going out in the Tiv yikes)

Cheers in anticipation.

Not sure if any of these are in your area, but I know someone who's lad has done a similar course to this, and is now happily driving an impreza spec c around airfields at 17.
