Best Advanced Driver Tuition in the North West?

Is anybody able to recommend a specific advanced roadcraft tutor who operates in the north west?
As good as The IAM are, please don't recommend them - been there, done that. Without wishing to sound disrespectful, they're a little too 'elderly peoples club' in my area.
Specifically, I would like to learn from a police class 1 trained driver if possible.
