For those that might be wondering (I've mentioned my impending test a few times on various threads) I did my Rospa re-test (first one) today...Just so happens its my birthday (42). Nice present: GOLD.

Yes I enjoyed it: I don't often get to do a drive with full commentary to someone who I know can interpret what I'm saying. When I do a "demo" drive a really full commentary (for the purposes of evaluating the drive) would be OTT and possibly intimidating. Its nice occasionally not to be the teacher and instead to be the student.

The drive was all around Winchester - not an area I know well at all - so I had to read the road at all times - no possibility of local knowledge. That was intense but it's what it's all about really.

The only criticism I got was that I was erring on the side of caution a little too much. A symptom of roads I didn't know and an exam situation where breaking the speed limit is a fail: I can live with that.

So I drove home like my arse was on fire. biggrinbiggrin
