Overtaking when no centre line

In Spain my experience has been that you don't toot or flash people to get them out of the way....you just briefly get close to their bumpers. I have tried the toot and flash technique and it just doesn't work....if anything it makes them more resolute to stay exactly where they are so when i have tried the sit up their ar5e technique i've found it works almost everytime.

Obviously there are people out there that never use any of their rear view mirrors or are just plain obstenate, therefore you haven't got a chance no matter what you do...

however....bumper cars anyone??

Well do not forget that the Arabs ruled Spain for quite a few years, so it has probably stayed in the local genes, i mean i recently saw a Ferrari? parked outside my hotel with just about 100% blacked out windows, except for the front which had a strip across the windscreen about 8 inches deep which was clear, so i assume it was a local female who drove it.
my drive to work here in the U.A.E. is about 40 mins and it is such an entertaing journey every day, there is always something new to divert your attention.
