With the impending Swedish day, i finally found time to do a bit with the sweed. A wash and wax was first... 2 bucket wash with a Mantis noodle mit and megs gold class shampoo, clay session then a polish and wax. For those who are interested I used a blend of auto glym resin polish and kratzer quick wax detailer sprayed on, rubbed in and machined with the DA polisher. Then waxed with a blend of turtle wax hard shell and poorboys nattys paste applied by hand and machine off.
I blended stuff for the sole reason i needed to get rid of leftover chemicals before i could justify spending out on more.
Heres some pics..
Ialso added a few little touches...
There's still a fair few bits that need sorting like valeting the interior, repairing the damaged eyebrow and shining up the trims but she'slooking pretty good so far i think.

Pardon the crappy photo! Couldn't be bothered to open the tent.
It's a '92 (I believe) 740 Turbo+ and not really mine, but more like a family heirloom. Despite what it looks like it's actually in very good condition both inside and out!
Currently decommissioned though. Mr. Mechanic Brother decided to make a few upgrades to the engine (new cams, bigger turbo) a few years ago and never really got around to finishing the project. If all goes well it should be running before the end of the summer though!

Some nice shots there Martin.
I really, really, really want a P1800 shortly followed by an S60R....
Nearly didn't have a front on my 60 this morning thanks to some t*sser in a white transit that can't merge lanes properly.
The S60R won "Favorite young Swede" (should've been me but I'm not bitter at all - honest ) and that P1800S was stunning and won "Favorite Volvo".I really, really, really want a P1800 shortly followed by an S60R....

Front ends can be fixed in an afternoon
