I like my cars to stand out a bit colour wise, my M3.

Anyway back on track with Volvo talk.

I need to get it handling better so going to replace every bush, track rods, link rods, anti roll bars and shocks or poss coil overs not sure yet. Then get alignment set. It feels like a tank at the moment with heavy steering and poor turn in. Going to fit solid front subframe bushes also.

IPD rear ARB and genuine strut brace (they do actually work!) would be a good start.

The lads from T5D5 have used BC coilovers with good results, apparently. It maybe worth checking out their forum or Facebook page.

I still miss my Gay Gold V70R

Ok thanks.

I think I do have a genuine strut brace on mine, it’s got the bracket in the middle that bolts to the brake master cylinder which I’m told is rare?

I actually spent another £2,000 on it since that photo was taken, and I put the add up.

It may be that I'm not terribly clever, but equally I've never accepted that things shouldn't be in perfect condition.

Next time I'm not likely to get a bunch of small things fixed at the Volvo main dealer though - the bill was rather a surprise.

Loving that. Would quite happily have one of these over some modern cars of similar ilk.

Had mine on the rolling road this morning. Operator was surprised how much torque it had and said it sounded like a fighter jet when it came on song!
