Any word on how many 2.0 Polestars are being brought into the UK?

The 3.0 probably sounds better, but the £500 tax is a bit painful and probably won't helpful the ability to resell in due course.

Hopefully they will register a bunch before April '17 so they don't get stung with the new tax rules too.
No idea, but I've seen one at my local dealers, in white, which I'm not keen on

Not keen on the white you mean?
Yeah, I'm not a fan of white cars. The rest of the car looks identical to the six cylinder

Was down at Lipscomb Volvo Maidstone today. They have a rebel blue car in the showroom. I do love that colour.

I test drove the black 16 plate 3.0 they currently have for sale. I have to say I was very impressed, what a great all rounder it is. Looks very stealthy but definitely prefer rebel blue.

Looks like the ex PH car sold quickly at Volvo Cardiff, as its disappeared from their site.
The six cylinder sounds SO much better than the four, although the four has more power, 8 speed box and better MPG (and cheaper road tax)

If you use Facebook, please join the 'Polestar Owners UK' group. The owner of the page is trying to get as many owners 'known' as possible.

Cheers

Another one who's popped on the Volvo side, looking to get something more discrete than the Audi and a bit of me really likes the polestar.
Too many Audis south of Birmingham getting taken and love the fact it looks "like a Volvo" and therefore likely to just get ignored.

Anyone able to tell me what the Tech interface is like on the T6? Not sure the best place to start the research, cheers.
I don't know what you mean by tech interface . . .

A quick query on tyres for any owners reading. The car we are buying has P Zeros all round. They have quite a lot of tread so we'll have to live with them for at least the summer. Have any of you switched tyres and got any thoughts on these or any other options?
Edited by Stephanie Plum on Sunday 14th May 18:16
I've recently put a set of Maxxis tyres on all round. I was getting through the original Michelin tyres at a ridiculous rate (fronts were down to canvas on the inside edge by the time of first service - 8k miles). Too early to tell what these are like, but certainly seem to do the job on the daily commute. Haven't heard of anyone using P Zeros, but I'm sure they're fine.

OEM tyres are Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/35 ZR20 (95Y) XL

Also, if you use Facebook, join the Polestar Owners UK group which is pretty active, with a lot of enthusiastic owners

I'm looking to slim the 'fleet' down from a 330d Touring and an RS4 Saloon. I've been and test driven a Polestar today and really quite liked it. The test drive was only 15 mins, granted, and that was over back roads - what are they like on the motorway for cruising? Any known issues I should be aware of (this is the 6cyl model)? What are day to day running costs like (pads / disks etc?).

Cheers
Mine is coming up to two years old and I've only done about 14,000 miles in it. Tyres are expensive and it does like to go through them (hence why I'm trying out some cheaper Maxxis alternatives currently). Not had to change any pads or disks yet, but they can be expensive as they are Brembo specific.
I found the car to be very good on the motorway, easily get over thirty to the gallon even when 'pressing on' and the seats are supremely comfortable.
I love the thing and it's just so anonymous. Pop it into 'Sport' mode and it bypasses the back box. Sounds lovely!\

Get over to the Facebook page and ask the question there, as there are more people who have done more miles than me!

There is the 'swedespeed.com' forums, which has a Polestar area ( http://forums.swedespeed.com/forumdisplay.php?5021... )
