They are good, aren't they? I have absolutely no need, nor justificaton for one (Mrs D has a very lovely XC70 already), and I'm having to try hard not to buy one. smile

Given it's a 4x4, I had no issues. Generally, the sound insulation is very good.

Here's our in it's natural habitat. It's not as refined as my brothers RRS but as a practical everyday car it's perfect. I managed to move the other half out of her flat using it. It also means I don't need my practical saloon anymore so on the lookout for something more fun.

Absolutely love them - had one for 10 years with no major issues at all. Just bought another after getting a fantastic deal on a MY2014 with less than 10k on the clock from a dealer. So versatile for our needs - we often need 6 seats and it does that perfectly. Great as a long haul cruiser or around town.

Hang on, I've been talking about the brand new XC90. If the questons I answered were about the outgoing model, then please disregard everything I said, as I've never been in one of those.

we moved a flat-pack wardrobe, and didn't even drop the middle seats !

Had one for 4yrs+. Great car for what it's designed to do.

Turning circle's laughable. The auto gearbox is very slow witted (works better if you set off in manual mode). It's thirsty. And it's a bit roly poly.

But it's built like a tank, feels ultra safe, very comfy, the kids can see out of it, the Mrs loves it etc etc etc.

Ours has done 80k miles with no major issues. As an when it will take a lot to persuade MrsM not to get another (she very much likes the new one|).
