Should I buy an 'old model' XC60?

New car collected on Saturday , unwashed . Really happy with it. 8 speed auto a league above the 6 speed in the D5 . Also a lot quieter engine. Sold the D5 to Sellcar , who offered me £500 more than the dealer. Also got GAP £250 cheaper as well than the dealer. Great car and getting used to new gadgets like voice control for satnav etc.

Has anyone had a nose around the new XC60?

I believe they are (or about to be) in the showrooms now.

I looked at one at Geneva back in March & ordered one earlier this month. Dealers are expecting them about now if not already.
Perhaps a New XC60 thread should be started.

Yes saw one in Welwyn Garden City. Had the Inscription in the showroom and the interior looks fantastic. It's too big for us so I'm waiting for the XC40.

Test drove the MY18 XC60 today, and its a lovely thing, even in Poverty Momentum spec its a great car.... its where my money is going to go I think, just have to see if a good lease deal comes up now.

Will do, I think it will be a while, lots of the older version being punted out cheap, I think Volvo still have a lot left over, there were two MY17's brand new in the showroom, so I would assume they have all that to go through before they'll even start backing the new model.

Mine has been delivered to the dealer last week. It's a Momentum Pro with a few options. HiD doesn't want it until September unfortunately.

Ha Gaz, is that Snows in Winchester? They showed me yours to show what the Momentum was like if so, and its all very nice, like the leather too!

Thanks it is! I wasn't sure of the Amber colour of the leather when they sent me a video. I had to call in to double check I liked it, but wasn't sure what I'd do if I didn't. It'll show up marks from the kids so I'll have to keep an eye on it, but happy with the choice.
