Good stuff! You went for a standard momentum didn’t you? On a side not, have any of you tried the T5 engine before ordering? I got out in an XC60 for a few hours but I haven’t yet tried the T5 engine. Hope it’s a peach

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with the XC. It’s a great SUV. Good choice on interior too, shame you can’t change the interior colour on the R Design
You mention a further 3 week wait, is that the earliest it could be delivered?
Great, all the reviews point towards a decent motor... no i actually delayed delivery by a month as the Passat mega deal is too good to give back more than a month early. You mention a further 3 week wait, is that the earliest it could be delivered?

For those of us with cars arriving early April, have you received your reg yet? I’m keen to sort my insurance, been promised a dealer date of 2.April (bank holiday) yet I’m still waiting on the reg and final finance documents.
Have you received anything yet? Am still waiting and a little concerned seeing as everyone else pretty much has theirs..fizz47 said:

Nope, not a sausage. Been promised it’s arriving Tuesday, when I’d expect my reg will be generated. I’m a bit miffed really as we were initially quoted 8 weeks, next week is our 14th week. Our old lease car has been returned and now it’s becoming increasingly frustrating and costly. Updates seem a little poor too. cheshiredj7 said:

Any update on yours yet?So after pushing and pushing for an update, iCarlease have finally told me my car is scheduled for delivery to the dealer on 2nd July...
I asked for May at the outset to time with our Passat Alltrack going back; 7-8 months is quite some slippage from the original 8-10 weeks which was stated as possible from the outset.
I'm now not sure what to do or where I stand....pretty disappointed in their service and total lack of info tbh. Looks like I'm perhaps the only one in this boat as others' cars seem to be filtering through.
It will be a MY19 car - no idea whether that means better spec (R-Design T5)

If it’s being delivered 2nd July by the time you get it will be mid July - unfortunately not much you can go about it ...I asked for May at the outset to time with our Passat Alltrack going back; 7-8 months is quite some slippage from the original 8-10 weeks which was stated as possible from the outset.

Mine had a dealer delivery date of 2nd April but doesn’t get to me until 19th April despite asking for asap...
With those dates and with my dates I have the feeling that the dealer are being a little manipulative with orders in the sense that they seem to being delivered at the beginning of each quarter - I suspect they are maintaining some sort of targets set - the fact that you are getting a MY19 car suggests to me that they have pushed your order back as the they should have already had an oridignal MY18.5 build slot back in Dec.
As for the MY19 changes it benefitted the momentum spec the most and from what I understand if you ordered a r design already then the only difference is added multi direction lumbar support..
I also read on Volvo forum that people who are ordering their xc60s now are getting delivery’s quoted for end of May...

How can people ordering now be quoted such a short lead time when mine is nearly 8 months?!? Mine had a dealer delivery date of 2nd April but doesn’t get to me until 19th April despite asking for asap...

I'm told the spec differences which will hit my MY19 car are front park sensors and Volvo on Call, so I suppose that's something. Now to speak to VW about a three month extension.....

In the end my car was delivered on week 15, so 5 weeks over the estimated delivery. To be fair I don’t think it’s an issue with icarlease, I think they’ve been let down by Volvo.
Andrew did all he could to minimise any disruption and in the end it was worth the wait.
Shame it’s only averaging 12mpg! Hoping it’ll improve as more miles are put on it.
