Got mine in before Christmas, Andrew was a dream to deal with. I'm about to come out of an old shape R-Design and it's been a great car, but the new one is much better specced with a few more toys that were options on the old car.

I've gone for black as the Osmium is a touch too light for my tastes, and they don't really do a dark metallic grey like my current car. I've also gone back to petrol - I do <5k pa so the fuel economy doesn't really kick in, plus the finance deals on petrol are much better now that the tide has turned. 250bhp and AWD should be good fun, or as fun as a family wagon will get.

Mine was the same as others here - R Design T5 AWD with free metallic pain. 3+23 and 5k pa for £317.

Hadn't seen one in the metal until I saw an identical car to mine in Sainsbury's the other day - looks good in black with tints. Just got 10 weeks to wait now too...

Sorry to say you’ve missed the boat, prices have gone up, to what I don’t know.

Hi Guys,

So all sorted and ordered - R Momentum in Osmium Grey with the front parking sensors added and will pay up front for the Andoid Auto as its just a dealer add when it's arrived.

Pity Volvo don't do a car order tracker, I see it's been removed from their site, can't wait for it to arrive now..... Tiguan doesn't go back until the 5th May though which is a bit of a bummer ;(

Very pleased I got the quote in and all sorted on Friday smile

Oh and PS - massive heads up to Andrew @ icarlease - top chap - again one of those rare people you find who are super helpful, have the time for you and that pays dividends in this market it really does. Very pleasant to talk to and knows his stuff and plus no admin fee either, what's NOT to like! smile

Totally agree, a breath of fresh air compared to some of the others!

Agreed. Made the process very easy and kept me up to date throughout. Not sure I can hold on for ten weeks though!

I'm still waiting to hear back - I understand he will have a massive backlog of emails to get through.

Be interesting to see how the price rise has affected the deals.

Spoke to Andrew briefly today about a few things and sounds like the price has gone up substantially (like £2k over the term).

As an aside, anyone got any recommendations on insurers who also do GAP all in one, or is it better to do separate (first lease for me and only the other day I read a thread about a guy who lost out from a big initial and a carjacking because his GAP didn't cover it, so just want to make sure I understand all the risks that I am or am not covered for)?

Always get Gap insurance separately as it's far cheaper. I use ALA, just google it as always great value and they have a chat tool. They will normally match gap123 as well so go there to fit a quote first.

I'm expecting delivery in a couple of weeks (was ordered as a stock car before these discussed deals arose) and am looking at GAP costs.

ALA is one I've heard of and is coming out at £214 including up to £3k deposit protection and £20k level of cover.
GapInsurance123 says their site is being changed and a sister company link took me to totallossgap.co.uk - no upper claim limit and £3k deposit protection for £108.47. Seems a massive difference here!

Interestingly for Gap123, a #2 google result leads to a post on here about liquidation letters in late 2016. All explained well and clearly nothing to be worried about after all.

Is this cost difference expected or are there some underlying differences between cover that should be considered? Will ALA really look at matching that level of difference!?

Same as me mate. Heard of ALA and coming out in excess of £200 for that cover, and like you say totallossgap seems to do an equivalent level of cover (i.e. including deposit cover) for c£100. So thanks for that. I'll look around a bit more, I get mine mid Jan as well - will let you know if I find any cheaper (anyone let me know if you do, important to me is the deposit protection having gone for a 9 initial).

Edit: the other sister company comes up c£10 cheaper, though there is a claim limit of £10k and slightly less deposit protection of £2k - but I think I still fall under that anyway as I'm on the 5k miles pa deal that was 9+23 on £215pm (unless I'm missing something obvious).

Personally I would contact ALA on the chat facility and tell them the quote you can get is cheaper....they will always match it I've found without issue.....

I actually got an email today, my estimated delivery for factory order is late March. Think the broker will provide updates.

Cool - I'll wait and see what I get from the broker. I shouldn't really get excited as my Alltrack isn't due back until 23 May....whistle

Yeah my all track isn't due back until 6th June, but it's £70 per month penalty sending it back early.... so it will be going back early lol!

Is that £70 on top of the monthly payment you have to make or just £70 in total. If so that gets me a thinking....idea

I also got an email this evening from Andrew @ icarlease anticipated delivery mid April, hopefully this ties in with the return of my present lease end of April. They will keep me updated on delivery details until then.
