The Volvo XC60 lease thread
Discussion
Debbie sent me an email saying early April however I spoke to Andrew yesterday and he was looking at the delivery list he had received in front of him while I was speaking to him and said car was provisionally delivered for March..
I have a feeling that they are saying it’s a little later just in case, so customers don’t get dispoiinted if they dont turn up in March - under promise but hopefully over deliver which is absolutely fine in my book.
Also confirmed with Andrew that can’t add factory fit options without refinancing which would add about £2.5k to the current deal.
Adding a private plate needs to be done once the car is delivered via the finance company but shouldn’t be an issue.

Well my delivery is for June, quoted on order as well. Have not had any negative correspondence to delivery yet but I assume should be okay. I have a feeling that they are saying it’s a little just in case- as to under promise but hopefully over deliver which is absolutely fine in my book.

Have sent an email to confirm if everything will be carried out okay.

For anyone waiting for their new XC60, who hasn't owned one yet.....
It's an absolutely fantastic bit of kit. I've spent the last week in one whilst waiting for my V90. Having spent the last (almost) 12 months in a Discovery Sport I feel I am in a good position to comment. Aside from the lack of a 5+2 option, and a touch more boot space lengthwise in the Disco Sport, the XC60 genuinely feels a better car in every respect.
Enjoy your cars when they arrive.

Interesting comments. Which model did you have? We had an R-Design over a weekend and felt it was quite clunky and unrefined for the kind of car it is supposed to be. The D4 engine was horrible. Very noisy and always having to change gear to get anything out of it.
The best thing was the interior but It's put us off a V60 altogether.

I’ve ordered a T5 Petrol blindly which hopefully will be better however a friend test drove the new D4 and I had the old shape but new plate D4 as a hire car for two weeks- yes it’s not the fastest or slickest but found it suits the type of car and for young family duties and more than adequate... friend came from Audi diesels and he says he was very impressed despite writing off the notion of ever buying a Volvo. He wanted a GLC but after the test drive is adamant he wants a D4 diesel..The D4 engine was horrible. Very noisy and always having to change gear to get anything out of it.

I was one of the first in on the icarlease so got an early build slot and it arrived yesterday.
For all those awaiting and wondering, the service was fantastic from all involved. The transporter driver from FRF Swansea was great, talked me through the car and didn't rush it, and of course Andrew at icarlease has been helpful throughout with my inane questions!
My first lease so really appreciated it all.
Love the car so far. Feels big and I'm a bit clunky having not driven an auto before but it feels really well made and making me very happy so far!
