Anyone else’s app button to engage trip/phone etc not work until you get moving for a bit? Starting to find it a bit annoying I can’t start a call etc as I start off!

Chuffed to bits with the economy of the D5. Makes a nice change from the Golf R estate where I could just squeeze 38mpg on a run... still showing 3/4 of a tank from full.

Was this achieved on the motorway? I cannot imagine you achieved this mpg figure driving on urban roads.

Yep mostly motorway.. about 15 miles of urban thrown in. If you’ve seen the M6 recently you’ll see why. It’s riddled with roadworks and average speed cameras.

Has anyone got a V90 T6? What's the real life MPG, quoted is 36 which I don't believe, I'd be happy with high 20s but not low 20s.

Thanks in advance.

I have a V90 Cross Country T6. Economy for me averaged about 25mpg over the first 1000 miles; the last tank eked up to 26mpg - that's mostly a 5mile each way commute though. However, I've not seen it break 30mpg on a journey yet, even mainly motorway. I daresay it's possible but it's actually quite sprightly and doesn't simply want to sit at 70 on the motorway.

I also have the V90 Cross Country T6. I've covered 3.5k with a mix of local trips and 2 x 600 mile round trips and i've averaged 22MPG. I do have a heavy foot when i'm on the motorway though!
There are 3 engine modes and I run mine in the most responsive. I can't remember what they're called as I changed it almost on day one as the other 2 modes were just too lethargic.

That's interesting - I've barely bothered with Dynamic since in the middle mode (is it called Comfort?) the throttle response seems fine and the gearbox learns very quickly that you want to press on. On the couple of occasions I've put in Dynamic, it seems to sit at higher revs when just cruising along so I didn't leave it in that mode long.

Good to know it's achievable mine averages mid to late 20s as I'm just doing shorter trips and mainly in dynamic so the gear box actually works a bit better. If this were not a lease id certainly be investigating the polestar upgrade for the gaerbox remapping alone. I just can't believe a test engineer signed off the current software on it as passable!?

I finally spent enough time in mine in the dark to see the colour changing interior light. It seems to be one LED in the roof console. Has anyone found any other coloured LEDs?

My wife was disappointed that the light up sills didn’t change colour.

Hi,

My WiFi has stopped working in my S90, has anyone else had a similar problem? It just says no network available.
I tried resetting the Wi-Fi but no joy .

Thanks
Greg

Should be taking the plunge on a V90 R Design lease soon. Any options you guys would recommend from the standard R Design I shouldn’t go without? Bit surprised the reversing camera isn’t standard.

Got 700 miles under the wheels and my regular commute is working out around 36-37mpg. The golf gti manual gets around 40-41mpg for the same trip. The golf did get better after a few thousand miles.

Sorry for the sideways pic! On a good motorway run I can get just over 40mpg but early days yet.

I did 350 miles of mixed roads on Monday in the V90 D4. The indicated MPG was about 56. Not done anything to verify it.

I added the camera and it makes parking in tight spaces (a garage) so much easier.
