Well in that case I'm very glad I leased mine and didn't buy one smile

Ordered a V90 D4 Momentum in denim blue with blonde leather. PCH Originally quoted £289 pm IIRC £899 then 35 x £289 with 10k p.a. As I have decided to put £3k down now down to under £247pm.
Currently have 65 Reg D5 XC60 SE Lux Nav and very impressed with ride, standard kit and smoothness of transmission compared to sometimes jerky older set up in Xc60. Car stock so delivered any time I want in next 3 weeks.

The original deal sounds better - under £306 per month amortised rather than £323 per month.

Apologies I was working from memory,
Offer 1) initial £899.43 then 35 x £299.81 8000 miles p.a.
Offer 2) initial £936.36 then 35 x £312.12 10000 miles p.a.
I chose initial £3000.00 then 35 x £247.36 10000 miles p.a.

By doing this I got the monthlies where I am more comfortable and saved by my maths £215.56 overall. Sorry about that but I am sure someone can work out the amortised figure as list price is £38420.00.

Excess miles >5000 7.56ppm
5000> 10.08

Can anyone please confirm whether or not their car came with a "book pack" in the glove compartment?

It might well be my imagination, but I could have sworn that there was a maintenance booklet etc, in the car.

However, I collected my car back from having Polestar and a rear parking camera fitted, together with the three month check, and there's nothing at all in the glove compartment.

Ta.

Yes, there's a book pack and old fashioned service book! Presumably they took it out to stamp up the check (isn't it a six week check??) and not put it back?

How much for the Polestar upgrade? Is the difference noticeable?

Thanks - I thought I was going mad.

Yes, I think that's what they've done too.

I'll call them tomorrow.

The check is either 3 months or 3,000 miles. Having said that, mine is now 5.5 months old.

I didn't actually pay for mine. I negotiated it as part of the deal as the car arrived 4 months late.

I've not really had a chance to drive it much (apart from in traffic coming home from the dealer). Initial impression is that the mid-range is a little stronger though.

I'm really interested to see whether or not it improves the irritating gearbox issues documented on this thread.

yes

It's probably the most complete family car I've owned. I can see me buying one of some flavour when the lease is up.

Pretty similar to my old 5 series to be fair. That had the M Sport plus pack so think they were 19”. These are something else though!

Did you get your apps sorted on yours? Spotify was already on mine but no internet connection. Managed to get some movement once I’d set up a hotspot on my phone. Hoping it’ll just work if I plug in to the USB. Will try again in a bit as nothing was happening with the app. Did manage to download TuneIn though.

The dealer couldn't sort it but did some kind of global reset and then I could download the apps! Just downloaded the NW Europe map too as the maps were showing needing an update following this

I bluetooth tether from my phone, automatically does it when I enter the car so happy days really! Really like the car, can't find anything to grumble about at all which is unusual for me. Glad I went for the D5 and allow I would have never have specced it, I love the bendy LED headlights, they work unbelievably well, especially with the automatic main beam dimming. Silly thing to be impressed with but I am.

Some bugger managed to touch the back bumper with his tow bar so I have a small, round dent near the rear reg plate which is annoying after two days of having it but you can't actually see it unless you look. I only noticed it when I was cleaning it and felt a slight dimple.

Probably best all-round saloon I've had (except my 2002 Audi S8, of course!) and I would highly recommend one.

Thanks for sharing this. They look awesome. Glad to hear about the ride as I'm currently on 19 from m sport Plus and I'm fine with the ride,so if it's no worse that's a relief.
Can't help but look at that picture and struggle to realise there's a volvo badge on the front.
I got about 3 weeks or so for mine. Trying not to think about it too much as it's like being 10 again around Xmas time lol
