Thanks for sharing this. They look awesome. Glad to hear about the ride as I'm currently on 19 from m sport Plus and I'm fine with the ride,so if it's no worse that's a relief.
Can't help but look at that picture and struggle to realise there's a volvo badge on the front.
I got about 3 weeks or so for mine. Trying not to think about it too much as it's like being 10 again around Xmas time lol
Everyone that’s seen it has been amazed that it’s a Volvo and compare it to an A7. Did a big old motorway run today too (400 miles in total) and returned 48mpg so pleased on that front as well.

Anyone getting theirs with the 21 inch wheels? If so please feel free to post a picture up so I can see how they look.
Those 21s really do suit the car, glad I went for them as well.

My D5 arrives on Tuesday not sure if it’s being driven from the dealer or on a trailer either way I am really looking forward to it.

Will pop up a pic when it arrives.

Mine was driven from Doncaster, 260 miles on it when I got it! Oh well!

Next week I would have had it a month, loved every minute of it, especially I seem to have worked all the bits and bobs on the menus out!

Think most get driven these days as it's so much cheaper. Just when it's a rainy day and your brand new shiny car turns up dirty it takes the edge of it a bit!

Has anyone ordered there’s though contract cars?

Mine was ordered at the end of July with a 2-3 week wait, (onyx black momentum), but then delayed until 11th September. Have been told it will be a 68 plate now rather than 18.

Bit concerned it won’t have VOC as that would have been a great feature, or front heated seats. Also does anyone know the situation regarding the dash? Will it be the full 12” version or the original smaller one that the momentum came with?

Thanks

Can anyone help with the above?

Didn't order through Contract Cars, mine was Jet Leasing but I'm pretty sure all the flavours of S90's and V90's from model year 18 & 19 have front heated seats as standard. My MY18 D5 R-Design certainly does.

I'm not entirely sure about MY19 VOC but I think it may be standard across the range. However MY18 will only have VOC if it's an Inscription or any of the Pro variants as standard. Mine doesn't. I think all of them come with the 12'' screen except the Momentum?

Why don't you just ring up Contract Cars and ask them?!

My average after 3k ish miles is 29.9 MPG (V90 T4) -weighted mostly urban driving. Highest I've got on the sensus chart is 50MPG (10 mile interval selected) but that was driving home at 60MPH on the motorway. I was getting 38MPG overall on my previous Passat Alltrack for the same type of driving, so 29.9 isn't 'too' bad.

I usually like massive wheels on a car, but think the 21s look just a bit too big for the S/V90. 20s are probably the sweet spot IMO

I just went with Car Shades - cost £85, give much the same look and can be easily removed and sold at the end of the lease.

I still find it annoying that cars can come without tinted rears - surely it should be mandatory on all cars by now?!!

Annoyingly I was told by the salesperson when I ordered tints were part of the spec, must have been confusion over the MY19 specs. By the time I realised it was too late to add.

Trying to get clarification from Santander re adding them and their thoughts!

Mine got trailered as was one end of country to the other.. still turned up filthy & guy who loaded it / unloaded it at my house ended up with dirty hands messing with the trailer and didn't clean them before driving the car off. Might have been delivered to my door sub 10 miles on clock but the blonde interior looks a mess frown

I tried an Inscription Pro D5 just out of interest, still with 18" wheels. The engine was more responsive - the slow witted gearbox was better but the same issue still existed just to a lesser degree. Also the road noise was still there.

If you're trading up to a S90/V90 maybe you won't notice it but having had 2 x V70s and an S80 before, these are real issues and Volvo need to address them before they can compete with BMW and Mercedes.

Hi guys,

Who has the best lease deal on a 9+35 for around 10k-12k miles for the following model:

S90 Inscription Pro
D5 PowerPulse AWD Automatic

Where can I find the best least deal on the above??

You are better looking asking on the lease thread but I had a quick look for you and this is the cheapest I could find

https://leasing.com/main-dealers/ray-chapman-volvo...

9+35 @ £448.53p/m for 10k, grossing down to a two year deal to benchmark the percentage it's coming out just over 27% of list which ain't bad but ain't good either, my D5 R-Design clocked in just over 18% so might be worth getting on the blower to brokers and see if anyone has one thet want rid of?

That deal is from a main dealer though so no fees but shows you the deals on this model are a bit mediocre right now if the best one if from a dealer! For comparison it looks like Jet have D5 Inscription on a 9+35 for £284.59 per month for 10k but with a £145 fee. This clocks in at just 18.63% of list and is a much better bet IMO. Even with the £145 fee having this Inscription instead of the the Pro will save you an whopping £7068.36 over the three year term. Personally I'd rather have a couple of half decent holidays than a heated steering wheel! wink

Here's the Jet deal

Your money of course but flexibility is your friend in leasing!

Anyone know of a similar deal for the Inscription Pro model?
