Looked at the Inscription
23@£244.79 (inc VAT)
£3000 down (inc VAT)
£180 fee

Seems reasonable to me, but I'm fairly new to the idea of leasing so - £8,810.17 or £367/mo. 22.4% of list
I'm looking at S90 T4 Momentum - std spec is very good.23@£244.79 (inc VAT)

We got a V90 D4 Inscription in March for £1700 down (no fee) and £283 a month on a 2 yr, 8000 miles last March.
3k down and £244 seems a bit high.
I disagree3k down and £244 seems a bit high.
I bagged a Santander V90 in August which was delivered in November and its costing £335/month on a 1x18
In the current climate £358 is pretty good, and its a luuuvvvvvely place to be
200 miles today fully laden was sublime.....
Cheers
EDIT: had a blonde moment and didnt realise that you were talking about D4's. Mine is T4 and was significantly cheaper than the D4 and so Id say its an even better deal, when I got mine the diesel car was £392/month, Im a data saddo and can say that figure with certainty

Hi - due to take delivery of a factory ordered S90 Momentum T4 late Feb/early March. The car will be leased for 2 years. I was after some advice around servicing and decisions others had made. I assume given I will have the car for 2 years and expect to complete around 20K of miles I will need to have the car serviced twice. Can anyone tell me if Volvo offer maintenance plans (ideally 2 years!) and if taking out an available service plan will work out cheaper than paying for the year 1 and 2 at the time of servicing? Thanks in advance.

I was told there was a 1 month/1000 mile leeway on the servicing, hopefully that could enough time to dodge the second service by delaying the first.rufmeister said:
V90 D4 here, thankfully only on an 18 month lease.
Really don't like it at all.
After the initial, wow factor wore off, we quickly began to notice the gearbox is horrible, always in the wrong gear, very hesitant at junctions, meanings you have to second guess it and hit the throttle about a second before you want to go.
Engine is very rough and unrefined, getting an average of 31mpg from it around town, similar to my Golf R.
Ours is an 18MY without front sensors, making it a nightmare to park. The mirrors don't seem to help either as you can't really see the side of the car correctly due to the body shape, so always seem miles out from a kerb.
Blind spot is HUGE, created by the A pillar and mirror, blocks a huge part of your vision.
We find the features all a bit unintuitive, with the + and - symbols usually associated with volume, not being, the AC we just can't get our heads round, the auto wipers, etc etc, just doesn't come easy.
All in all its a very cheap car, but disappointed with the drive and overall package, so won't be getting another one in the future.
I must admit after 6months odd of owning a d5 v90 r design I'm glad I only got a 2 yr lease and I have no doubt it will go back a bit early as well. Really don't like it at all.

It is a nice car, looks nice from the outside, nice interior but the gearbox and engine just let it down.
I will admit I thought I could transition from a 400bhp 340i to a 4 pot derv in a bigger car and live with a reasonable amount of go but it has been 10x made worse by the drivetrain.
Other annoyances now just grate all the time such comically slow parking sensors and the front ones coming on in traffic.
I got one due to price of the lease and so in that respect it's a nice car for not a lot of cash but the inner petrol head in me, gives me a b0ll0cking every time I drive it!
What ever I get next will certainly be back to petrol I know that much.

Just found this thread, I've got a S90 T4 Momentum incoming in april and looking forward to it as a daily beater to replace my Cupra, the Pilot Assist is very appealing.
Got it on a 36month term with 10k miles pa for £3k deposit then £177/mnth so happy with that for a £37k car.
Where from? Sounds like a great deal!Got it on a 36month term with 10k miles pa for £3k deposit then £177/mnth so happy with that for a £37k car.

Hi, I’ve been waiting for Q1 campaigns to be announced before FTK on a V90. Unfortunately deals have been slow to materialise. The best I have come up with on a 1+17 with 8k mile pa are:
T5 Cross Country - £370
https://www.leaseshopcarleasing.co.uk/personal-lea...
D4 Momentum - £379
https://www.santanderconsumer.co.uk
The Cross County is good value but I am nervous about fuel economy. I’ve read on here that some have seen low 20s mpg. Tough call

My V90 T4 has almost hit 2000 miles and economy is still poorIt isnt commuted, rarely does runs in town and most journeys are 30 miles minimum on the motorway during which it has now hit the heady heights of 34mpg
It isnt the cost as such which is winding me up, although its a significant extra monthly expense versus my old 335d, but the fact that coupled with a modestly sized tank its range is compromised. The BMW could do the in laws and back with 1/3 of a tank left, in the V90 I need to consider topping up on the motorway to ensure I reach home without the fuel light on.
Which is irritating as it munches the miles so much better than the BMW did
Cheers

A 70 litre tank would have been brilliant. It isnt commuted, rarely does runs in town and most journeys are 30 miles minimum on the motorway during which it has now hit the heady heights of 34mpg

This is the problem with, I can only assume, basing the fuel tank size on claimed economy figures.
I was coming from a 4.4 V8 so I'm quite happy with the 35mpg I'm now averaging but 42mpg average is a pipe dream.
This is the first car I've not been able to get close to the average economy figure, my typical commute sees it easily achieved on pretty much every car I've had. That being said I'm going to try running it in eco mode more and see if there's a difference.

How's everyone finding the tyre wear? My V90 T4 went in for a three-month health check today, and the fronts are 30% worn at 2500 miles.
T4@2k miles hereFronts on 6mm tonight and rears 7mm
Its being driven like the barge it is, and I love it, but am still disappointed at its drinking, or rather as stated previously its range

Assuming the tyres begin at 8mm and change at 3mm - thats 5mm life
30% worn means 1.5mm gone i.e. down to 6.5mm
fronts 6mm means 2mm gone = 40% worn
How accurate are the measurements?
