After waiting for the right deal on a V90 since November, I jumped on the Cross County deal from Santander for £272 on a 0+18 with £8k (excess 7.5p). I’ve gone for standard spec with free Magic Blue paint and Amber interior. I was wondering if anybody had any photos of the amber interior or a CC in magic blue? Ta
Configurator's quite good at this, btw hands off my spec biggrin

Obviously I’ve looked at the configurator... a lot wobble
And I’ve search cars for sale with amber interior without much success frown

Would be great to see some real photos!
If you're near Carlisle, Lloyd Volvo have a regular V90 Momentum in that combination, very nice it was.

Chanced across one in a car park today with the amber interior. Far more yellow than the configurator suggests (on my screen at least) so not for me. Assuming the deal goes through I'm going for Onyx Black with Blonde (light grey) leather.

Blond is more of a BMW-style champagne is it not?

Definitely the one to have I'd say if you have the luxury of speccing new.

18 month deal at those prices definitely appeals, guarantees missing the expensive second service.

Hopefully there's similar going about when mine runs out!

I agree blond looks lovely, but having owned a white sofa I wouldn’t risk it. Even if you protect the leather, it’s very difficult to keep the stitching clean.

I agree entirely - my black interior with black wood is very boring in comparison. The Amber and Blond interiors differ in that quite a bit of the trim is light with the Blond (including the steering wheel), whereas Amber has dark trims and just the colour on the leather. Looks very classy. Although I wouldn't turn my nose up at the Blond, since that's quite Scandi-chic. You'd have to like the light coloured steering wheel, mind you.

As for keeping it clean, don't keep your chickens in the car and it'll be fine laugh

Just popped into my local Volvo dealer to take a look at a V90 CC and make sure the Mrs is happy. Mentioned the deal to the salesman and he had a look but couldn't get anywhere near it. Said that we could specify them as the dealer and was also happy to arrange a test drive of an unregistered V90 CC T5 they've got so taking that out next Wednesday.

One thing to note for people thinking about options such as the Winter Pack is that they now include Volvo On-Call which enables you to start the vehicle remotely for up to 15 minutes at a time (and have it locked) so you can get it nice and toasty in the winter. Therefore means you can forego the Winter Pack which is what I'll be doing.

I was hovering over ticking the Winter Pack on mine untilI I realised this too. Still want the heated steering wheel but not paying north of £500 for it.

I wouldn't count on the windscreen being cleared of ice quickly without the heated screen.

Unless you want to be leaving it running a full 15 mins.

We've got an XC60 without heated screen at the moment and it's clear if we leave it running for 10 minutes, no issues.

Well mine is clear in 5. tongue out

I suppose when you get up can be a factor too. I'm leaving the house at about 5:20am so will likely have more chance of having to deal with the worst of the frosts.

Heated steering wheel is brilliant though. Today I took the Clio to work and my hands were freezing for a good while! Put it in perspective how pleasant it's been of late in the Volvo.

Yep. I'm sure the winter pack makes sense in Sweden but realistically how often do you have to scrape your windscreen or feel the urge for a warmer steering wheel in the UK. 1 day in 10, 1 in 20? Too little benefit for the outlay IMHO.

Volvo On Call with app is standard on all V90s and S90s, and I think it's standard on the S/V60s too. Unsure if the winter pack includes parking heater - I thought the heater wasn't available in the UK.

Struggling to see an Amber interior too.
Nipped to a dealer over road from my office on my lunch as they had a 2nd hand silver one in stock but with the blond interior.
Had done 5k but the seats looked a little grubby. It’s what I originally wanted interior wise. Didn’t like it on the steering wheel either.
Currently in a blue car otherwise I’d of gone blue paint again.

I’ve gone for Osmium Grey and Amber.

Was going to go with Charcoal interior due to having kids but thought stuff it, I’ll go for something different.

I have the pack on my V90 CC T6 Pro. It’s fantastic. You feel cocooned and secure on these cold mornings. The heated screen and wheel are lovely. Having had it, if you took these options away I would really miss them.

Depends where you live. Suffolk might have three frosts a year. I started the week in -9.5, have had ice on the floor every morning since. And I'm only just Scottish central belt, albeit on a North facing road.

First car I’ve had with heated steering wheel and have to say I think I’ve had it on every morning for last few months. Will definitely be looking to spec on future cars. The heated screen clears the ice in seconds not minutes and again really useful.

Visited my local garage this morning, they had two new V90 CC on the forecourt.

I can’t believe the size of these cars, they are huge!

One in Denim Blue and the other in Pine Grey, both with blonde leather and running on 20’s. They also had an used Osmium Grey, black leather on the starndard 18’s.

Ruled out Pine Grey on the configurator, big mistake, looks classy!

Any idea of the monthlies on those 20’s? Must be £100+ right?

I like the idea of a heated steering wheel and windscreen but... even if the front/rear screens are cleared in seconds, surely that very often still leaves the side windows to be dealt with... either by de-icing by hand or warming the car up. One of my pet hates is people driving around on a frosty morning without clearing all their windows. Some really take the mick and peer out of the tiniest little clear spot directly in front of their face, so I suppose a heated front screen would solve that...
