I'm looking forward to a glut of these appearing on the used market in 18 months time!

Each to their own but I don't see the point specing options on a car you'll hand back I'm a year and a half. You find most lease deals are flat paint which can be a draw back bit the met paint options are included with the deal making as is the sensible choice for me.

How did people find the lead time on their v90s?

I ordered way back (September 10th) and still no sign of the car anywhere. Originally was quoted 8-12 weeks.

I spec the options I want, as I tend to pick up cheap leases. If they're cheap to start with, a few quid to make it how I want it isn't such a big deal. Most options never pay back however you fund a new car.

Best way of throwing away £3k would be to spec the B&W sound system.

Hi, new to leasing. If I ordered the dog guard + cage , would I be able to keep it at end of the lease?

Thanks
Yes. They are dealer fit so you just hand over the cash when you collect
The dog guard is really nice, it swivels on gas struts so is easy to swing out of the way.
I often need the full load area and continuously moving a fixed mesh in and out would be a PITA
It isnt cheap though at 330 quid eek but I easily negotiated it for £250 to match another dealers Ebay shop price
Cant help with the cage but as its a new car the aftermarket hasnt caught up yet

Theres a lot of talk about options recently and I cant really relate
Just about everything is paid for over the term, big alloys - really fellas??

Petrol MPG UPDATE:

V90 T4 which is now at 3k miles in 2 months which it has munched without issue or complaint from either the car or the family, we've just got out after 3h as fresh as daisies

Did 350 miles this weekend there and back
Most of this was on the motorway and I reset the trip to just measure the motorway consumption.
In Eco mode it did 36mpg there and 36mpg back with Pilot assist set at 75mph
Of note there were 2 major sections of roadworks of 30 miles total in each leg with a speed limit of 50

Its drinking is still a bit st but crucially it will now get me to the in laws/mates home town and back on a single tank without needing to stress a top up on the way back home on the motorway. And the lease was such a good deal as to eventually not have me sweating its fuel habit

Cheers

I ordered my v90 last January and picked it up just before Easter. The s90 are taking longer due to coming from China.

There's a significant difference between sitting at the economy sweet spot where 8th gear is just engaged, 57/58mph, and 70mph.

That's pretty much exactly what i'm thinking spec wise if I go for one. My last 2 cars (RS4 Avant, E Class estate) have been grey and I really wanted to have something a bit different this time but not sure about other options.

I think some colours seem to work better with the black arches. I'm a little bit tempted by brown (if you had told me when I had the RS4 a few years ago I would be looking at a brown Volvo I would of burst out laughing - amazing what having two kids does!).

I'm still undecided but may end up defaulting to safety grey (again) but maybe jazzing up interior with Amber spec?!

What are thoughts on brown, anyone ever seen one in the flesh? Can't decide if its special and ace or gross!
I like the brown. In fact, the Bentley interior designer that Volvo pinched to design these recent cars, his favourite overall combination was Brown exterior with blonde interior.

Gosh, cant remember, read the article a while back but if I was to guess, I would think one of the wood inserts, considering the exterior was Brown.

I have an Osmium grey v90 and it does look nice, only 18s but didn't want to bump up the monthlies on a 2 yr lease.
If I were speccing one on a pcp I'd go for at least 19s but the 18s do soak up bumps well and have saved a few curb scrapes.
I'd go for a rear camera as parking sensors and cr8p, standard stereo is not bad, get the dipping wing mirror option when reverse as very useful as well.

Lastly make sure you drive one and can live with the gearbox!!

I was settled on Onyx Black until I seen it in the flesh at the Volvo garage, just looks standard glossy black. Not special at all, white looks decent but bored of white now so safety grey it is

Hi guys
Was looking at V90CC and have a question. How good is the built in satnav with picking traffic up? Does it have speed limits built in?
Reason I am asking is that smartphone integration is £300 option and I use waze a lot, as I find it is better with traffic then VW or lexus satnavs.

It has a live road sign reading camera, tell you speed limits, speed cameras, even temporary ones. Link to wifi and live traffic etc. Great system.

Smartphone integration was £12/montly, so a little over £200 over the course of the lease. It's the only option I've added. I like Waze and run it all the time despite our cars having built-in satnav. Spotify and iMessage work quite well through CarPlay too. I've just happily spent £300 on a CarPlay headunit for my MX-5.

I'm going for brown, I saw it on an XC60 at the weekend and it's certainly quite an amber tone, possibly a little browner than I was expecting but I think it'll make a nice change. It's only 18 months after all.

I sat in a white car with a black interior at the weekend and the black inlays. It was a little bland and possibly cheapened the appearance of the interior. I think the metal inlays would help. Maybe I should re-evaluate the blonde option.

Anyone know how much rear tints add to v90 cc?

Does it come with front and rear parking sensors?

Are the kids fold up seats in the family pack suitable in the uk + safe so I could ditch car seats for my 4 and 5 years olds, or are proper child seats still recommended?

I'm thinking of going saville grey, black leather and black interior but could be swayed to metal interior.

Thank you for the quick answer Gregmitchell
I am leaning towards V90CC T5 in brown with amber interior (gets a darker roof lining as well). Smartphone integration and reversing camera add £31 month to the lease price, camera is the must for me.
About £308 for 8kpa on 1+17
Will go to the dealer again, to look at the satnav system a bit more.

I'm in the process of adding the Harman Kardon to the spec... now at £375/month but it's nicely below my notional monthly budget smile Have to say that Santander have been excellent. Really impressed with the dealer too (Keith Price Volvo)... very helpful and accommodating.

I'm 90% sure I'm leaving the colour as Osmium, although Savile grey has grown on me...

I'm quite tempted by the amber interior (particularly if I went for the darker Savile grey instead of Osmium). I showed some photos to my wife who thought the amber looked a bit 'old man'... not sure I agree and at the end of the day I'm the one who'll be sitting in it most of the time. From what I've read it seems that it's a bit more yellow than the Volvo configurator suggests, which makes it less apppealing. I really need to find one nearby to check out in the flesh...

Sooo indecisive...

I have Amber with Osmium

The Amber is great, no regrets but I wish Id been more adventurous with colour
Luminous Sand is superb in the flesh, mush less so on the configurator
