The Volvo S90/V90 lease thread
Discussion
I have just submitted my order to Neil @CliveBrook I spoke to him on the phone last night and he is a great guy.
I ended up R Design T4 Osmium grey with no other options for £7,878 with 12k miles pa. These deals are incredible value for money.
To the person who ordered through Rybrook Chester, you did a good job getting it that low through them I found them really rubbish to deal with. They are my local dealer (great show room though!)

Snap. Also went for R-Design V90 Osmium Grey. The grey helps contrast the bits of silk metal finish dotted around the car and wing mirrors, and helps contrast the black parts of the R-Design bumper.I ended up R Design T4 Osmium grey with no other options for £7,878 with 12k miles pa. I went for 5k PA just as I only do a tad over 7k per year. Total cost is £6,001. I'll just see how the mileage is at half year and see what the price is to buy more. Worst case, I'll pay another £800 at the end at full price miles - but will try and wangle the miles a bit cheaper after 12 months and see how I go...
Its pretty crazy to think you get to own a £40k car for the best part of its life (ie, from brand new to used) but effectively are only paying peanuts for the privilege. Leasing rocks!!!

Just had a message from Neil saying Lex have pulled the deal but they are honouring my quote.
Wow Lex strike again!I ended up with compensation after the A6 saga and then they did the same with the Jag XF deal. You need to make sure LEX countersign the finance documents otherwise there'll be no deal. I know that's the case with everyone but LEX pulled previous deals and didn't honour them.

Let’s see what happens but surely they can’t continually pull deals and not honour them?
Exactly. I don't know how they get away with it. I know some people who ordered an A6 like me where going to take the matter further (financial ombudsman etc) but I'm not sure how they got on. I personally would never order a vehicle backed by LEX again after what happened. At least the positive is that Neil has said they will still honour the deal! All is ok for Lex.
Neil was in touch with me there and told me not to worry for those that have had their orders accepted and that they are honouring those deals. No new deals will be taken from now though I would guess.
He messaged me again a couple of minutes later and gave me my factory order number and delivery date (27th March) That's put my mind at rest!
For info, the only bit of paperwork that I did was sign 2 pages of the contract and sign a direct debit sheet and sent them back.
Well done to everyone who got in!

Does anyone know if the good deals are still out there?
I have been looking around and am struggling to get anything like what has been quoted in the older posts.
Looking for a V90 D4 rdesign on a 24 month 10000 mile pa.
Best I have in writing at the moment is £8500 total over the 2 years, have one that is coming in a £8010 but am waiting for a written quote and they have not sent that yet and its been 2 days so I am guessing its not available.
Going a test drive this weekend so would like to go armed with the best quotes to see if they can beat or match.

That’s not too bad considering the mileage, the really cheap leases were based on 8,000 miles pa. I found the D4 a fair chunk more expensive than the T4.I have been looking around and am struggling to get anything like what has been quoted in the older posts.

I know it was previously 271 on 6+23 for the v90 R Design. £7859 and about £300 to bring it up to 10k miles so around £8.1k ish. Check What car leasing to see if it's still on.I have been looking around and am struggling to get anything like what has been quoted in the older posts.

Boom order accepted, order number generated and delivery 27th March!
Same date as me. What's the chances of arriving by then? It's only 6 weeks away so very ambitious considering it's just been ordered....What kind of registration plate will these cars be on? (I'm from NI so don't really know how your registrations work in the Uk)
