Mine is built apparently but I FTK in early October so know your pain for an 8 month wait!!
I FTK at the same time as you but have no idea if mine is even built yet!

Did you go with a broker or direct via a dealer?

Really nice - standard of finish inside is very high and the seat is very comfortable. Only angle I’m not that keen on is looking at the rear straight on. Quite a long car which will take some getting used to. I test drove one back in October and they were very smooth and comfortable. Can’t remember what the tyre noise was like as that seems a cause for concern with the R Design from a lot of people but I don’t think it will bother me much.

I’m not the best to review as I’m coming from a 58 plate poverty spec Mini Cooper to my first ever brand new car so it’s always going to feel leagues above what I’m used to day to day.
I'll take your 15 plate Cooper, and raise you an 08 plate Citroen C3...

This S90 is going to be a palace on wheels.

58 plate, thank you very much, haha!

Yes, it's gonna be some change when I (finally) get to pick it up. Another month delay for me (now 22nd-ish of May) - when do you pick yours up?

Aha, not sure where I got 15 plate from out of that!

No pick up date as yet. All I know is it's anticipated to arrive 'mid-June'. Since ordering my Mrs has ended up expecting and I'll have the little 'un before I have the bloodie motor!

I suspect you'd still get more street cred than me.

Never mind all you Johnny Come Latelys.... hehe

Early adopters... It's first service time. Interesting that there's a small variation in price via Volvo website for my nearest 4 dealers... 275/285/290/320.

Anyone else taken the plunge yet? I understand we can service up to a month late... coughsmile

Picking up my V90 T5 Cross Country on Thursday. Coming out of a Golf R Estate being returned this Wednesday.

Should be quite a different driving experience which I am looking forward to. As soon as I pick it up, I am driving up to Snowdonia for the weekend, no doubt slowly with the Bank Holiday traffic!

Awesome! Can you help manage my expectations please by letting me know when you ordered, when you did all the paperwork and how long that took to get approved, and what your original build/delivery date from the dealer was?

Phew..

I ordered mid January with the Santander deal. Requested Mid April and to be 100% fair to them, they have delivered.

order update
I ordered 22nd October 2018, T4 r-design, with family pack ... was told originally March, then pushed back to May.
Had update today (15.4.19) from main dealer (we didn't chase) still on schedule for end of May although not built yet.
I asked if it would be a plus MY20 car was told most defiantly not, dealer said only cars ordered April 1st onwards would be MY20 plus models, MY19 and MY20 will both be built for a while.

Can I ask which dealer you are getting yours with? I'm with Mill Volvo in Newcastle. I ordered an S90 T4 R Design two weeks before you and even then my original date was 18th April so I feel they were fibbing to you then. I was assured for months that it was going to hit the April date... then I got the call on Friday pushing mine back to 22nd May for receiving the car (apparently it is built and will be shipped around the 12th).

Hi There - Great thread!

I’m looking for advice please, I’m pondering a Momentum V90 lease, something like the following:

https://leasing.com/main-dealers/bells-northampton...

I’m struggling though for a definitive list of how the Momentum differs from the Momentum Plus? More specifically, will the in stock Momentums still have the smaller digitial dashboard display (which I’m not a fan of)? Any other significant improvements on the Plus?

Ideally I’d like an in stock Plus but if the differences are minimal a Momentum might be okay. I’m in a situation where I’ll be putting my current car up for sale (520d) soon, I’ll struggle logistically waiting for a factory build, if/when I sell my vehicle. From what I’ve seen in stock Momentum Plus’s are still fairly thin on the ground. I don’t want to end up placing an order on a model that I’ll not be completely happy with.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Mine has been telling me for a while now. I am now 2 days over 12 months. Probably call them next week to book it in... smile

V90 T4 Momentum collected today.

(Deposit paid to dealer on 22 March, lease paperwork signed last Saturday. In-stock model)

smile

The service indicator was showing 235 days until service when I first sat in it.
I got them to take it back into the workshop for a manual reset - it was then showing 364 days.
When I got it back home, it was showing 360 days!
I will be keeping an eye on it, and going back if it loses any more days!

I am planning to get it serviced at due date + 29 days, so it will not be due the £470 2nd service when it goes back at 24 months.

From memory, it started telling me 2-3 weeks before it was due.

Momentum is MY 2019, spec here:

Momentum Plus is MY 2020, spec here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/pdxm5zci631xx22/volvo-v9...

(You need to compare the 'standard features' to see the differences. Main differences are Fog Lights and Parking Camera on the Plus)

Mine is the MY 2019 Momentum - it does have the 12.3" TFT display as standard.
