Three also offer 200MB of data for free each month - I've never run out of data yet on this, but I don't sit in the car for hours: three.co.uk/freedata

Tempted by the 24GB SIM suggested above for my iPad though, cheers Ascot17 biggrin
Snap!

I only use it for traffic and 200MB is masses

For Spotify I use my phone, am happy with the reduced functionality compared to my last BMW as I don't need to sweat data consumption

Mine arrived today. First impressions are that the car will be superb for wafting about on my daily commute. The ride is supple, but also fairly compliant. Seats are good, but could do with a tad more side support (R Design seats would have been better, this is a Momentum). The stereo is absolutely brilliant, especially given that I have the standard unbranded specification. It's better than the Dynaudio system I had in my Golf GTD.

It is fairly responsive and remains very hushed when pushing along at pace. Well.. as much 'pace' as the D4 could possibly give in such a heavy car. It feels quicker than I expected in fairness.

Caffyns Eastbourne have been fantastic from start to finish, I would highly recommend them. My deal was a good one at 1+35 £289 p/m on 8k a year, so I feel pretty smug overall!

That looks sweet - it makes the extra month I’m gonna have to wait feel all the more longer!

Can I ask which dealer you are getting yours with? I'm with Mill Volvo in Newcastle. I ordered an S90 T4 R Design two weeks before you and even then my original date was 18th April so I feel they were fibbing to you then. I was assured for months that it was going to hit the April date... then I got the call on Friday pushing mine back to 22nd May for receiving the car (apparently it is built and will be shipped around the 12th).
Yeah sure its from Volvo Poole

There’s a few posts over on the main lease deals thread talking about some lease companies not allowing activation of ‘integrated services‘ features like live traffic updates and Volvo On-Call.

Anyone come across this issue with a Santander car?
Thanks to those who replied to this, sounds like it won’t be an issue - I’ll know for sure tomorrow morning when I pick it up!

Saw my first S90 up close and personal yesterday. Metallic black - looked excellent. Starting to wish I'd gone for that colour now.

Climate control help please

Today's the first warm day since I got the car and it appears that unlike every other car I've had the fan speed is manual

It isn't disastrous however at midday in my osmium car the middle setting its been on for months was not sufficient to maintain my set temp. Nudging up a setting on the fan from middle cured it but it then became noisy and annoying in slow moving traffic

Am I missing something?

Climate control should be auto, have you got the automatic switch on?
If you override the fan speed on most cars this disables auto until you turn it back on again.

Yes, definitely on full auto

You leave it on auto but still have to set the fan speed. It's a bit of a PITA IMO.

The fan speed definitely changes itself in my car. What do you mean by middle setting? Try setting it to a lower temp, perhaps?

Just booked in for its first service, £250! Has anyone tried to pay for extra miles yet? I’m way over already! VW let you pay for extra miles at a discounted rate, just wondered if Volvo did?

Should be in your lease agreement. Usually about 7ppm.

Had a fiddle this morning - it seems to be an auto fan speed but with a setting for how strong you generally want it to be. Mine has been on 4 since I got it last June. I’ve learnt something again thanks to this thread biggrin

I’ve placed a factory order for an S90 T4 Momentum Plus on PCH this week.

The dealer has said they expect the car to arrive in September, but a couple of people have said that’s unrealistic and looking around very long lead times seem common with the S90. They seem to turn up when they turn up and some people report long delays where others state the cars arrived early.

I don’t need the car until October when my current car goes back, and it’s not a major drama if it’s late provided I get a few weeks notice and an accurate delivery date. What won’t work for me is the car not arriving by October then the dealer saying it’ll be here in a next week every week until some time in 2020!

Can anyone who’s ordered recently tell me what their lead time is, or shed any light on when the dealer will get a solid build/delivery date?

Picked up my Santander V90CC this morning. Great service from the dealer and a courtesy follow up call from Santander to check all OK.
Only slight hiccup was the car has a graze to the paintwork on rear bumper but the dealer will sort this out so no drama.
Only done a few miles but loving it so far. Feels a lot quicker than the E220 it’s replacing.

OK, I’ve no idea why those photos have rotated- they’re the right way up in my phone! #techfail

Any idea when it got to your dealer? Still have no idea when mine is coming, it was meant to be this week!

If you run the car in eco mode, the climate control is throttled a bit to save energy...may cause issues in warm weather.
