Well, picked the V90 T5 CC up on Thursday afternoon and now done 500 miles in it. Initial thoughts, like it a lot, glides up and down the motorways, Sat Nav is good, seats are good, interior feel good quality. Storage areas within the cabin are not as good as my old Golf R but not complaining.

I miss not having an SD card slot full of music like I had in the Golf. Question, if I put a load of MP3s on a thumb stick, do I need to download an app to play them?

No, the car recognises the USB as music and will play it.
The inbuilt Gracenote app will even download the album art for your music.

Drove from Leeds to Oswestry this morning. Took it easy on the motorway, sitting at mid 50s mph with the HGVs. OBC said 82mpg over just beyond 100 miles (V90, D4). Was a pleasant surprise, as going 75+mph tends to yield very low 50s.

Very nice! I've gone for the Amber interior too, how you finding that in the flesh? After 10 years of grey / black interiors thought I would spice things up!

Mine should arrive this week I'm told, just waiting for collection date/last bit of paper work to go through. Popped by the dealer today to have a nose if it was there yet, couldn't spot it but saw two other V90CC T5s awaiting collection, bet they are PH / Santander deals!

There was a nice Ocean Race edition there too. Look like they have some serious road presence in the flesh, must be the extra ride height / wide arches.

Personally it looks great, just to my taste. OH is unsure - but that doesn't bother me!! I saw a few sitting at the dealership, but apparently I was the only Santander deal he knew of. As usual, his boss thought I was talking crap about the price until he saw the agreement.

2500 miles into my S90 T4. The screen states an average of 34mpg though majority has been motorway driving. Around town the car is giving me about 27/28mpg and if I drive at sensible speeds on the motorway I'm getting around 42mpg I think. Go any faster and it can drop down to 25 mpg

Full tank on motorway is ~440 miles or so for 60 pounds of fuel, local driving I can't remember tbh

Thanks for that. The majority of mine will be motorway miles so good to know the economy is returning what I was expecting.

Four weeks to go (hopefully!!!).

New April update looks very thorough .Connected Safety is now live and another update for the gearbox.

Wee 'i' next to Apr update seems to suggest it only applies to XC40.

That said though, that 'i' is a bit further down as well though next to the Amended Messages point and says not applicable to Twin Engine. XC40 doesn't have a Twin Engine variant so I wonder if the 'i' next to the whole update is a mistake.

About to FTK on a V90 Momentum Plus via Santandar for a variety of reasons (best price, 18 months avoids the bigger 2 year service, fed up of a number of lease companies advertising prices they cannot supply).

Seems that the current wait from my local dealer is 4 months - has anyone managed to get this faster from any other location, and is this roughly realistic (I've noted the lengthy S90 waiting from China)?

Can I ask what you got quoted for your V90 from Santander? I am about to place an order on an S90 Momentum Plus on a 24 month contract but would be certainly be interested in a V90 if the price is right.

Going with the advertised rate on their site £359 for 10k probably
Think can knock c. 20 pm off this for 8k
Wish I had been quicker on the uptake when they had the V90CC deals out a few months ago. Spent the last few months chasing various deals from dealers but got fed up of them not replying, disappearing etc. Then saw the Momentum Plus spec, which has the reversing camera and memory seats which were the 2 options would have added anyway so am going to go for that.

I picked up one of the last V90 Momentums that were in stock in the UK. I think you will find that no-one yet has a Momentum Plus, the reason being that this is the MY2020 build and they are only just starting to build them this month.

Once there is some initial stock in the country, there may be a shorter time available.

If you want something sooner, there seem to be a few S90 Momentums (MY19) still available (around £7000 over 24 months).
