I had my S90 delivered last week, and I’m loving it so far.

It keeps popping up a notice saying ‘update available’, but when I click on it there aren’t any for either the system or the apps I have installed. Has anyone else experienced this?

As above.
Mine only had UK and France installed out of all the available maps. This was giving update messages for the uninstalled maps.
I downloaded the full set from the website and installed them = no more messages.

Can I ask when you placed your order and if it was with a main dealer?

Email to say my documents have been sent out by Santander for my v90 which I’m due to get in July.

Really looking forward to the new car but due to a change in circs (looming expensive house move) cancelling might be a better option for me.

Anyone even know if this would be possible? Up to now I haven’t signed anything regarding an order which I placed about 2 months ago.

I would assume that you'd just lose any fees you'd paid. I wouldn't mind taking it off you and cancelling my S90 which has been delayed to September...PM me if interested.

I haven’t paid a penny as of yet. It’s something I will consider over next few days. The car is also currently sat at the dealers so could probably be had before July.

It’s a shame as I was really looking forward to getting the car but the mrs must get her dream house. The Volvo is a v90 r design t4 on a 1+17 profile £315 a month 10000 miles per year.

I probably need to get a new quote but I could extend my A4 avant for another year for £180 a month. (Plus maybe £700 ish for 4 new tyres and a service) so about £240 a month overall.

The £135 a month saved in monthlies would come in handy if we end up in the short term situation of having 2 houses and 2 lots of bills to pay. This could possibly happen if our house doesn’t sell fairly quickly.

Got my Docs for my V90CC from santander. Annoyingly had to go to the post office depot for them.

They have a registration number, so does this mean the car is ready to be collected?

I intend to post them back tomorrow, so can anyone give me an idea how long until I get the car? I need to start looking to shift my current car (which I have to re tax by 1st May and have just had serviced Doh!).

I also have the option to select a DD payment date. Do most people just go for 31st?

Was about 10 days from paperwork to collection for me.

Really enjoying my V90CC so far. Lots of tech that I've never had but won't want to be without again.

Really comfortable and the interior finish is the well ahead of anything else I've had. Averaging 29MPG after 250 miles mostly A road driving, commuting and short journeys.

When I picked it up it was the first Santander deal the dealer had supplied.

Which tech in particular?

I got to choose my number plate this week from a list of 10. Hoping for mid May collection.

Two weeks with my V90cc and enjoying it so far bar a few niggles. Highlights:

- 500 miles in. 34 mpg is my average for my daily commute. 50 mile trip, motorways and country roads. I can live with that (Golf R 37mpg on same commute )

- Super nice place to be in bank holiday traffic. Pilot assist makes Loch Lomond side queues a breeze. Echo previous comments on the interior quality. Even the sun visors are soft and have a lovely feel to them.

- The voice recognition actually works.

- Volvo on call app is brilliant.

Not so good :

- USB port decides on occasion not to recognise sticks.

- Maybe I’m doing it wrong but it seems to make a complete pigs ear of any playlists too.

- Rubber around drivers side A pillar window seems to have bubbled/ melted in parts which is bizarre. I’m looking forward to showing the dealer that one.

- Auto Brake Service (or similar) flashed up on the dash yesterday disabling the auto hold feature. Switching off/on again seems to have fixed it.

I got mine at very short notice, I think I placed the order about a week before it arrived. It was from Stoneacre Lincoln who were excellent to deal with.

Also thanks for the replies, it is the maps so I’ll update them today.

Never heard of that before! Is that a Volvo thing?

Received another update on my S90 order. Another delay.

The car has now apparently been built and is on it's way to the UK, but rather than mid June delivery, it's now anticipated to be July. That's the 3rd time it's been pushed back now, and wouldn't be surprised for it to happen again.

Seriously considering my options.

Sorry for asking again, but when did you originally order? Mine has also been delayed twice from an early October original order and I was told it was already built and would be shipped on the 12th May for an end of May collection.

I’m seriously annoyed already and not sure I could take another delay. Jealous at The A class deals that have been and gone on here too.

Just another data point - I ordered an S90 early Nov with an ETA of mid/late May and it is (allegedly) still on track for then.

Thanks. Mine originally was mid-April, then late April and now late May. To say my faith is deteriorating is an understatement.
