12 months into 18 month lease
Just hit 15k miles.

The front tyres are down to approx 4.8mm to 5.0mm at 15k miles which I hope will last by the time it goes back in October. How is everyone elses tyre wear ?
Swap front-back?

They say not... but seems odd to me that they'll manufacture MY19 & 20 concurrently on the same line.
If they're still producing MY19 models in late August, I'll eat my hat.

I’m looking at placing an order in the next month for a V90 Momentum, I’ll have to be looking at in stock options, does anyone think there’ll be MY20 Plus versions appearing in stock soon? I can only find MY19’s at the minute.

I could hold off selling my current car I guess until the MY20’s start to become available, just trying to work out the right timings to sell/buy.

Thanks
I picked up an in-stock V90 Momentum at the end of March. At the time, it was the only stock car left in the country.
Momentum Plus build was supposed to start last month so I would anticipate them appearing before long.

Only real differences between the 2 are reversing camera and cornering fog lights.

Sorry, I know its been covered..

We took delivery of the V90 on the 25th May last year. It tells us it needs a service.

I want to only service it once, so am I ok to get it serviced in June to avoid the following years service?

Thanks, not worth holding off selling mine, I’ll see what the in stock options are once I’ve sold it, I’d be okay with an MY19.

Am I right to assume leasing.com is the best site to search for in stock leases? Any other sites I should be checking?

This may be common knowledge as I'm not well clued-up on this sort of stuff, so hope it may be news to somebody else too.

My dealer sent me screenshots of my order status when confirming my order is still on track - was interesting to note that the "Customer Name" and "Primary FIN" were both listed as Santander Consumer Finance. I went direct through the dealer and not via Santander which a lot of people did, so I hadn't been expecting to see them listed.

Is it just the case that Santander are Volvo's go to financiers for PCH deals? Is that why they were able to offer their own deals via their website a few months back?

There are numerous other leasing sites. A google search will bring up plenty.
The best Volvo prices tend to be from Volvo main dealers advertising on leasing.com (eg Stoneacre Lincoln and Mill North East Volvo - also a Stoneacre dealer).
I took a Stoneacre quote into by local Volvo dealer and they matched it.

Yes. It is Santander Consumer (UK) plc trading as Volvo Car Financial Services.

(This is the case for all deals from a Volvo main dealer. There may be brokers offering Volvos from a different funder however).

I’ve had my V90 CC just over a week now and it’s a great car but I’ve noticed a couple of annoying ‘features’.
I’m using the Spotify app connected to an iPhone using its WiFi hotspot and it takes ages from start to find an internet connection and then to start Spotify. Anyone any tips to making work a bit better?
Also while listening to music either over Bluetooth or WiFi and then any other warning sound is made by the car like park assistance it will lower the music volume but after the warning finished the music volume won’t go back to the level it was. If I try and turn the volume up the level on the display increases but it doesn’t get any louder.

Use a sim in the car rather than a phone to connect - it's a lot quicker. I got a 24Gb 2 year one for around £40 from Amazon. As for the volume issue, mine goes back to normal after the alert so not sure what the issue is there - have you spoken to your dealer? Mine has been brilliant with after sales questions.

Are you saying you buy a sim and use that for your music and or other car internet functions such as connect me? I take it you just too it up when your 24gb runs out?

That is exactly what I have done. I bought the sim from Amazon in question, and it works fine. However, don't use 'extreme' for sound quality in Spotify. Sounds good, but can take 3 or 4 seconds to change between songs due to the file size.

Plus, I have chewed through 2.7gb in 2 weeks, mainly from Spotify. High quality seems good enough!

Yeah the slow boot up for the internet connection is a bit frustrating but I reckon I’ll get used to it. Not has the audio volume issue you’ve got though.

I’m loving the car after 2 weeks, my only real bugbear is the size of the door mirrors - they create a massive blind spot which is taking a bit of adapting to.
Likewise the slightly dim-witted parking sensors which my wife insists aren’t working! They just need a bit of patience.

Slightly off topic - I was at my local dealer having a small cosmetic issue sorted on my V90CC & this was in the showroom. Sales guy said it was secret!
Any ideas? My son reckons it’s the new Polestar coupe...are they likely to turn up in Volvo dealers?

It'll be a S60, there's a launch event on the 11th.

Have any Santander 123 Volvo leasers extended beyond the original agreed term or is it too early for everyone?
