What is everyone streaming their music through? I’ve tried Deezer and Spotify through my iPhone and neither works unless I’m being a numpty.

Spotify running from phone because I have masses of phone data
Control is poor via Sensus so I just leave it running
It will skip back and forth but that seems about it

My previous BMW's version of idrive was slated but at least I could select individual playlists

Cheers

You should be able to use playlists, albums etc via Sensus. I certainly do. Select library in the Spotify app and go from there.

Cheers both, I’m sure why it’s not picking anything up then as my phones been set up to the car from first day of collection for calls etc.

After a lifetime of waiting, finally picked up the S90 yesterday afternoon (on a disgusting day of weather, sadly!). My dealer at Mill Volvo Newcastle was lovely throughout and had a full handover lasting just over an hour with a demonstration of the infotainment system, the car itself, got both keys in a nice presentation box - couldn’t fault him at all.

Drove it straight down to West Yorkshire from Newcastle - smooth, quiet and very comfortable.

I’m not very good at taking pictures but I’ve attached a few. Think I might have to get slightly classier car mats, haha.

Are you kidding? I was just about to ask where you got them from? biggrin

Car looks the business mate, very nice. Make the most of the new car smell.

Have you got the Spotify App in Sensus?

I have Car Play on mine so use that for Spotify. Out of interest, I connected to the car via Bluetooth and tried to use Spotify via Sensus - the wheel just kept spinning on the screen and nothing happened...

Only got it yesterday so haven't played round with it too much, but not sure why it wasn't working for me when everything else appeared to be. The songs are downloaded onto my phone so shouldn't be any streaming/data issue.

I use a mifi device in the car as a WiFi hotspot for Sensus then use the Spotify app. It can be pretty buggy, but easier to use on the move than a mobile.

No just on my iPhone, I’m not sure how I’d even get Spotify App on sensus, I’m not very tech minded at all tbh!

It's available in the Download Centre.

I prefer to stream music and podcasts from my phone via Bluetooth and control from my phone via voice or car mode in Spotify which used big buttons. This has been working very well so far. My podcasts do seem to load up in Sensus in the library but as Spotify streams music this doesn't appear in the library.

Confirmed with dealer yesterday that my V90 is ready and waiting... although I'm neither ready and waiting and I've still got 5 weeks left of my current car mad

I don't see why it's so hard to deliver a car in a specified week. It's not like they randomly pop out of the factory without warning.

I dropped into my supplying dealer about a month after the Santander paperwork had been processed and 8-10 weeks before my the date I needed the car

The fleet guy could not have been more friendly and sat me down with a coffee and his laptop which showed the exact status of 'my' car, when it would ship and when he would have it. They were happy to keep it for just under a month till a date which suited me although they did activate the service schedule - naughty, naughty - although on an 18 month deal this didnt enrage me too much

Cheers

I'll be sure to check mine out when I collect. I've heard of this a few times.

With the amount my delivery date changed, I wouldn't be so sure! Mine arrived at the port in Belgium on time but wasn't delivered until a week after it was meant to be.

To be fair, my comment wasn't a pop at the dealers. More my impatience.

Does anyone know what it means by 'Car Status Messages' on the infotainment screen on the bottom tile. I have gone into it and it only mentions something about the parking heater

The bottom tile changes depending on the last thing you looked at that wasn't nav, audio or one other thing (I forget!). Mine shows overall fuel economy but occasionally I change it to something else.

Could it be messages from my phone maybe? I cant see anything else in there. Managed to find a pic on google that says something similar.
